Feel the Earth: Self-Care and Dance Drills

Celebrate Spring!

We take for granted that our feet just naturally do what we want them to.

But how does every day life, shoes, hip and even shoulder mobility issues impact our feet?

How does this in turn impact our shimmies?

In this class, we’ll gain a stronger awareness and more vitality in our feet with myofascial release, gentle stretches, ankle strengthening and mind/body awareness exercises. Then we’ll utilize this connection to Earth energy with flat footed slow and fast dance drills to feel the impact that self-care has on our technique.

A nice cool down will leave you feeling like you are walking on clouds.

You'll need a tennis ball or myofascial release or Lacrosse ball, a block and a strap or towel for this practice.
