Dear FatChanceBellyDance® Family,
I have exciting news about the future of FatChanceBellyDance®Style; our beloved community is entering a new era.
It is with great joy that I announce that DeAnna Freeman, the owner and founder of FatChanceBellyDance®University, will manage all education and certification courses for FatChanceBellyDance®Style.
DeAnna's passion, creativity, and deep understanding of FatChanceBellyDance®, honed through many years of managing our programs and assisting me with the business, make her the perfect person to lead us into this vibrant new era.
What This Transition Means for Our Community
Elevated Learning Experience: We will continue to bring fresh energy to our education programs and ensure that dancers of all levels can continue to grow, excel, and find joy in their learning experience.
In addition, our exceptional FCCE team of instructors will continue to collaborate closely to provide top-quality training for our certification courses.
Enhanced Community Connection: DeAnna, Alina, and the whole FCBDU team are dedicated to building a strong, supportive community that will continue to motivate, inspire, and build stronger connections throughout our global community.
This transition is a testament to the strength and evolution of our community.
Creating and nurturing FatChanceBellyDance® has been the privilege of a lifetime, and I am endlessly grateful for the vibrant community we have built.

A New Chapter
Now, it is time for me to share a personal milestone. After decades of dedication to FatChanceBellyDance®, I am stepping into retirement.
What does this mean? I’ll still be a part of the community through FCBDU classes and continue mentoring the FCCE team.
But my main focus will be on sewing, bird watching, reading fiction during the day, and enjoying our community's continued connection and growth. Oh, and please join me on FaceBook every day at 4pm Pacific for 4pmChat & Storytime.
My spirit and vision will always be woven into the fabric of FatChanceBellyDance®, and I am confident that under DeAnna's leadership, our dance form will reach new heights.
