Yin for Hamstrings and glutes
A wonderful Mermaid (floorwork) recovery, but also excellent for everyone. This practice will focus on healthy hamstrings and glutes using long holds, deep breaths and a practice in presence.
You'll need two blocks and a blanket or towel for this practice.
Restorative Yoga is all about a "state of being" rather than a "state of doing".
These classes are designed to be relaxing and meditative while also providing the benefit of deep, passive stretching. Postures are held longer and props such as blankets, pillows and straps are used to fully support your body so you can focus on releasing deeper in both mind and body.
Restorative Yoga calms the sympathetic nervous system and lets the parasympathetic return to "rest and digest".
